Fun practical dance workshops for children 4 years and over. 


Dance workshops teach significant concepts of the Arts, covering individual priorities, corporate and business, community theatre and educational content specific to the Western Australian Curriculum.

Workshops include movement for Popular Culture, Social Dance, Ritualistic and Cultural Dance contexts showcasing a variety of styles such as; Ballet, Partner and Ballroom dances, Contemporary, Disco, Tap, Rock n Roll, Charleston, African, Irish 4 handed folk dance, Scottish Highland, Bollywood, Australian Pioneer dances. .  and more!

Workshops suitable for special occasions (weddings/ birthdays), corporate events (professional development/ health and wellbeing/ parties), festivals, community events, school groups, and home learning programmes.

Specially designed practical and theoretical dance courses for students Kindergarten to Year 12.

Dance lessons teach significant concepts of the Arts, covering content specific to the Australian and Western Australian Curriculum. All courses link directly to specific requirements within these and are tailor made to your child.


Delivery of courses are available for small groups and individual pupils. Each learner will be taught to their specific grade or level and will cover the capabilities within the curriculum for their range.

Implementing a theoretical study of dance in the classroom

February 2025

Sharing the process around the development of an analysis for multimodal approaches in the classroom with the outcomes focus on students as individual and group learners. This workshop aims to help improve knowledge, understanding and confidence in the theoretical aspects of writing about dance that covers concept identification, creative tasks and significant concepts linking to the study of dance in West Australian schools.

 

This workshop is designed for new and established teachers looking to consolidate their understanding.

Introductory ATAR Course

February 2027

This workshop includes an overall analysis of the ATAR Dance course, significant concepts that are taught in class and relevant information helpful for the delivery of the Year 11/ 12 course in 2027.

This workshop is designed specifically for new teachers and established teachers looking to consolidate their courses for the new year.

Examination Workshops

This workshop is designed for students studying the ATAR Dance course. 

​

In this 3 hour session, students will be led through the process of the Written Examination. Including study techniques, understanding the written paper, and best practice for answering questions. Students develop practical skills that can be implemented to help improve knowledge, understanding and confidence in the theoretical aspects of ATAR Dance.

​

Workshops can be delivered to individuals or in whole class settings.

Stimulus Material Analysis for WACE Examination

Available by appointment

This workshop is designed for students studying the ATAR Dance course. 

​

In this 3 hour session, students will be led through the current Stimulus Material for the ATAR Dance WACE Written Examination. Our workshop includes an in-depth study of the dance work, a focus on the short answer questions for the written paper, and understanding of best practice for studying using the Stimulus Booklet. Students develop their written skills and build confidence in the theoretical aspects of ATAR Dance.

Workshops can be delivered to individuals or in whole class settings.

Prerequisites include student observation of the Stimulus Material prior to the workshop. A hard copy of the Stimulus Booklet is to be brought to the workshop per participant.
